Board members play an important role in the governance, strategic direction, and fiscal oversight of SREMSC while representing the interests of emergency medical care consumers, EMS providers, local governments, and communities throughout the region.

You do not need to be an EMT or paramedic to contribute to SREMSC’s Board. The Board represents the interests of both consumers and providers of emergency medical care, as well as local government and the communities SREMSC serves.
Term: Three years
Compensation: Volunteer position; approved Board-related expenses may be reimbursed
Meetings: Regular participation and attendance are required
Additional Opportunities: Board members may serve on committees and may be eligible for Board officer or Executive Committee positions.
