Southeast Childhood Collective (SCC) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treasurer to join our Board of Directors during an exciting period of growth and transformation. SCC is leading major regional initiatives to strengthen child care capacity, expand the early childhood workforce, and support families across Southeast Alaska. We recently purchased a four-acre property in Juneau and are embarking on a once-in-a-generation building project—a Family & Child Care Center that will house a high-quality child care center, a training hub for apprentices, community gathering spaces, and partnerships for outdoor learning programs.
As Treasurer, you will play a vital governance role during the launch of our capital campaign and development of this new facility. This is an extraordinary opportunity for someone who wants to contribute to meaningful, community-wide impact.
